1. Specification:

LANGAN® LA-FI automated quick connectors instantly seals inside bores, irregular or rough holes and internal threaded components.

Thanks to the pneumatic actuation, the connector is particularly well suited for quality check during production. The connector relies on frictional force between the seal and the surface of the test piece. Therefore the contact surface is not allowed to be exposed to water or other lubricants. The connector does not exert lateral force and axial force on the test piece.


2. Operating instruction:

 Please strictly follow the operation steps. Improper operation can cause poor sealing, leakage and risk of connection failure resulting in damage or injury. Do not disconnect the connector while under pressure. Damage or injury may occur.

Secure the quick connector with a suitable fixing device. Carefully place the connector straight into the test piece.

Apply required pilot pressure to the connector. Then the pressure-tight connection is achieved.

Then apply the require test pressure to media inlet to start the test process.

At the end of the test process, vent the media line completely. Make sure to depressurize the connector before releasing the connection.

Depressurize the pilot pressure line.

The connector can be removed straight backward.

4. How to order: 

The LA-FE pneumatic actuated quick connectors for leak test are designed for female threaded components.

Normally we need the following information for orders:

◆ Space requirement (interference contours, clearance, etc.)

◆ CAD drawing, 3D model of the test piece

5. Special types of LA-FI leakage detection quick connectors:

If standard products do not meet your needs, an exclusive solution can be provided for special types.

Figure 1 and 2 are quick connectors for pressure testing or sealing multiple ports with close center to center distances;

Figure 3 is a shaft extension quick connector used for sealing surface that the standard connector can not reach.
